This is a portion of the New Testament in Hungarian . More specifically, this is a copy of the original Gaspar Karoli edition of 1691. This New Testament marked the first time that the Hungarian people had a translation in their own language.
The book "History of the church in Hungary, from the beginning of the reformation to 1850" (d'Aubigne) [pdf] explains the history and the exiting events of those days.
